The client of our company decided to pull out a week ago, forcing 100+ employees to lose their job and look for another voice mail transcription job to other outsourcing companies. Others stayed and apply for Inbound and Outbound Customer Service Representative position. As for me, I took the one month pay without work, separation pay, 13th month pay and other back pay the company offered and leave the company.

Since there’s a lot of competition in finding a new work, and there’s a lot of stress in finding a new one, I resort to try my luck finding a new job online, a new work for me that is home based, legitimate and trusted by others. A coworker of mine suggested Quicktate a week before our last day in the office. He said that it is a voicemail transcription job that is just like similar to what we are doing; transcribing audio files into text and submitting them back to the subscribers.

I am dying to grab a Stefan Janoski Nike SB. Anyone knows where to buy one in Quezon City or Manila? Please send me an email or comment bellow. I prefer the Obsidian/White, the same that is on the picture below.

I already looked in some online stores but I can’t find the exact one as shown above. All the Multiply Sites that offers Stefan Janoski shoes in Philippines are not authentic though they are not far from the quality of the real Nike SB shoes. Anyone that can pinpoint where to buy one will have a 300 worth of cellphone load. Please.

Chuck Stays, Heroes No More

There’s no way of saving the cheerleader as NBC canceled the next series of Heroes. What a bad news. The series was a big hit when it started, with interesting characters and their super powers, twists and turns that are not typical of a superhero story. Many are disappointed especially the die hard fans of the series. Good thing is my other favorite series, Chuck, is coming back for another season of action and comedy. We’ll get to see more of Zachary Levi as Charles "Chuck" Bartowski.

Free WiFi, anyone? Because of the sudden increase of sales of portable WiFi enabled devices, Filipinos are now connected on the go. Emails, Networking sites and surfing of must need information is now accessible anywhere, everywhere. Almost.

Gone are the days when people rely to slow GPRS connection. Gone are the days when people try hard desperately to hack Opera Mini to get free internet connection via Smart and Globe Telecoms. Here are my top favorite places for running and Jogging:

Amoranto Stadium. Not only because it’s a walk from my place but because I can run around the 400 meters track up to 10pm in the evening and as early as 6am. Sometimes you’ll have to pay 5 php to jog around but most of the times it’s free. You can’t run during Wednesdays and Sundays because it’s occupied by worshipers of Jesus Miracle Crusade. It is also closed during concerts and other events.

Quezon City Circle. This place is bigger and better than running around stadiums. You can also rent bicycles or play soccer, have a picnic with the family or have fun in the playgrounds, if you want a different activity aside from running.
