The famous rapper, T-Pain, got a new tattoo every time he visits Hawaii. “I get a tatt every time I come to Hawaii. I think this ones pretty sweet, unless facebook shuts down soon 0_o” - he tweeted last January 28, 2011.

Few Facebook users saw a call button next to the chat button when they visited a friend’s profile. Although nothing happened when they pressed the button, it showed that Facebook is trying something new.

USB Generic Gamepad (Joystick) for NBA 2K11

I started playing 2K11 for PC a month ago. The game was difficult to play with using the keyboards and I keep on pressing the wrong buttons. Then I decided to try a cheap generic Joystick from cd-r king. The gamepad resembles a Playstation dual shock joystick except for the usual markings on the buttons. I bought the USB controller for 180 PhP (around $4). It’s a plug and play but there’s a CD for installing the software for the vibration feature (the NBA 2K11 for PC don’t vibrate).

Though not formally announced, the Playstation phone made a lot of appearances in the blogosphere. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is a 4 inches LCD screen FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels). Powered by 1GHz Qualcomm CPU with the Adreno 205 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. A microSD card slot (not Sony’s M2?) as an expansion for saving tons of games and a 3.5mm audio jack to plug in your earphones/headset of choice.

Motorola Xoom Tablet and iPad 2

The former is formally announced while the latter is just a rumour. The Motorola Xoom is a feature rich tablet equipped with a 5 Megapixel camera at the rear (with dual LED flash). It will be running Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb, weighs 730g and is powered by a dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC. It has 32GB onboard storage and is expandable via SD. It can be used also for video calls with the 2 Megapixel camera in front. The Xoom features a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display, dual-core processing, HDMI out, it has built-in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass, accelerometer and adaptive lighting. Plus, it's also a mobile hotspot, providing Wi-Fi access to up to five other devices. How cool is that?

As for the iPad 2, it is said to be announced or be out as early as February. It is said to be slimmer (as if the present iPad needs to be slimmer), with a rear camera and an upgrade for the speakers.

The battle of the tablets continues this 2011 and surely everyone will find one that suits their needs or lifestyle.

2. Say a prayer inside the Baclayon Church. Baclayon Church is one of the oldest Churches in the Philippines.

3. Hold and feed a Tarsier.

I’ve been busy these past days. I attended a wedding in Naga City, Camarines Sur and had a vacation in Bohol before New Year. Will post new entries about my experiences starting tomorrow.
