Bohol is one of the top tourist destinations in the country. Here’s a list of a must do/must see in Bohol based on my experience.
2. Say a prayer inside the Baclayon Church. Baclayon Church is one of the oldest Churches in the Philippines.
3. Hold and feed a Tarsier.
4. Have a buffet lunch at the Loboc River Cruise.
5. See the Chocolate Hills!
6. Cross the hanging bridge.
7. Dare try the zip line. It’s not scary as it looks but certainly not for the Acrophobic.
8. Dine by the beach in Alona, Panglao.
9. Wake up early to chase the dolphins.
10. Snorkel!
10. Underwater Photography.
11. Eat lunch prepared by the people in Balicasag Island. (No pictures for this one. Too hungry to care about picture taking.)
12. Swim and take pictures in the Virgin Islands.
13. Eat a sea urchin!
14. Eat, eat and eat.
15. Shop for souvenirs.
Just tell your guides what you want to experience and they’ll take you to the places you want to go. I recommend doing the items 1-8 during a land tour for a day and the rest for the island tour the next day. Most resorts offer both land and island tour but it’s cheaper to get someone outside the resort.
hi. great travel blog. im planning to take my parents to Bohol on January. any suggested places to stay?
any suggested places to stay?
Check out Alona Tropical Beach Resort. We stayed there for 3 nights.
hi! i just wanna ask how much it cost you for the whole experience? except for airfare?
Hi! I am wondering where you went to hold and feed a Tarsier. Can you provide me with the name of the place? Thanks!
Forgot the name of the place. Just ask your tour guide or anyone from Bohol, it's a popular place to drop by during land tour so it's not difficult to find.
