A rock concert and run event for a cause in one is a first of its kind in the Philippines. Rock and Run is organized by Junior Chamber International manila Chapter for the benefit of Republikha, Inc. The event will take place on June 19th at 28th Street Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The bands that will be performing are The Dawn, Kjwan, Taken by Cars, Brigada, Techyromantics, Coffee Island and more. There will also be a special Best Rock Costume award, with the winner getting P20,000 worth of prizes.
As usual, I will be joining the 5k that costs 500 PhP registration which includes a race bib, route map and a dri-fit Rock and Run Singlet. There is also a 3k (450 PhP) and 10k (550 PhP) category. Registration is ongoing at RUNNR store Bonifacio High Street (Bldg. B3) and at Toby’s Sports Stores in SM megamall, Mall of Asia. SM North, Alabang Town Center, Trinoma and Glorietta 4.
